Darn right about 'Forever's Vulcan Worlds, off WHIKYB imn the mid/late 70's...that was the first RTF tune I'd ever heard, back in the early 80's. It blew me away.

[Then my gtrst buddy who had the albums took that one off & put Romantic Warrior on...& I was completely sold. Hard.]

Those sections in VWs with Stan Clarke's rockin'-funky, groovin-hard basslines, Lenny's hats/muscular groove, & Al's fonkay wah-wah gtr comping were just da schiznit. There are places where the band is not exactly locked in, & LW is a hair behind or ahead [by "DW standards!";c)], but so what. It adds to its "charm" [if that is the right word here!] LW's fills had definite & distinct personality in there. A real' cool jammer, for sure. Great tune. One of my faves.

I always liked trk 7, "Billy" [aka "Public Enemy #1"], off that Blue Murder album. [img]redface.gif[/img] [img]wink.gif[/img]
